Courtney Ross filed a category motion swimsuit in opposition to Nestle, which manufactures Lean Delicacies frozen dinners, claiming she went to a CVS in NYC and acquired the 4 Cheese Pizza, paying what she claims is a premium for a preservative-free meal.
Ross says to her chagrin, she checked the label and noticed the pie contained citric acid, designed to protect taste and freshness. She says different corporations fess up once they use citric acid, acknowledging it is a preservative. She mentions Hungry Man, Jimmy Dean and DiGiorno.
And Ross then unleashes a litany of Lean Delicacies meals which comprises citric acid, together with Asian-Fashion Pot Stickers, Shrimp Alfredo, Mushroom Mezzaluna Ravioli and Ranchero Braised Beef.
